- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had PRK surgery here a few years ago. (PRK is the type pilots get) The Dr's and staff were excellent throughout the process and the bottom line my vision is great! I chose PRK because I had astigmatism and I'm an athlete. The surgery greatly reduced my astigmatism, I see better now than I ever did with contacts or glasses! If you're debating whether or not to get PRK I would highly suggest it if you play sports and you feel you can tolerate a couple of days of recovery. A day or two after the surgery your eyes will feel kind of like you were wearing contacts for too long and you can't rub your eyes. the drops they prescribe feel great and the doctors are there for you, it goes by quick, you'll survive! I was back at work in less than a week! Also, try storing the artificial tears in the fridge, I got this idea from the surgeon, it feels amazing!October 04, 2017by XDlaser
